Mixed-Use Development of the Dongdaemun-gu Civic Center Site

Our proposal for the Dongdaemun-gu Civic Center site creates an open cultural hub connecting Jangpyeong Neighborhood Park with everyday community life. Echoing the park’s circular plaza, a circular performance hall forms the heart of the design. Open lower levels and shared spaces extend the park’s pathways into the building, bringing performance, learning, and social encounters together.
